JOB SUMMARY:

Vir Biotechnology is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter (temporary) to support end-to-end recruitment efforts for Vir including sourcing, evaluating, screening, scheduling, and hiring candidates to join our amazing team. You will be the liaison between Vir candidates and hiring teams across all functions and deliver an organized and helpful experience, all while representing and upholding our VIRtues! You will work with hiring teams to provide a quality experience and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES:

  • End-to-end lifecycle recruiting for both scientific and technical (S&T) and general and administrative (G&A) functions – this includes scheduling interviews, coordinating calendars, sourcing talent, screening applications, managing candidate relationships, and closing offers
  • Schedule high-volume and complex interview requests across multiple searches
  • Contact candidates to determine availability, coordinate interview times with hiring teams, and send meeting requests to participants through Greenhouse (ATS)
  • Utilize sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent including job boards, professional networks, and employee referrals
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including job description development, interview techniques and candidate evaluation
  • Help with candidate travel, onsite interview scheduling, expense reimbursement and other logistics
  • Take ownership of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in many aspects such as posting positions and triaging to multiple job boards, drafting and sending offer letters, and optimizing system for elevated candidate experience
  • Provide recruiting status updates to all partners through meetings and emails
  • Work with hiring managers to execute customized hiring plans and candidate profiles

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS and at least 5+ years of experience in end-to-end recruitment in Pharma or Biotech is required
  • Expertise in identifying, qualifying, and closing talent within set compensation parameters
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods
  • Previous experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse ATS is strongly preferred

The expected salary range for this position is $56.00 to $81.00/ Hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors
