Terray Therapeutics is a venture-backed biotechnology company utilizing a novel spatially encoded screening and optimization platform to develop treatments for historically intractable causes of human disease. Our platform is based on fluorescent imaging of ultra-dense microarrays such that, via thousands to millions of images, we can measure billions of target/molecule interactions in a day, generating hundreds of millions of dose-response binding curves.

Position Summary

Terray Therapeutics seeks a motivated, creative, and experienced biochemist to join our biology team. The candidate will work with one of the scientists in the team to test small molecule hits from our screens in a range of biochemical assays using different target proteins.

The core responsibilities of this job will be:

1. Run biochemical assays specific to the protein targets at scale using liquid handling robots to evaluate hits from tArray screens
2. Working closely with our assays scientist to optimize and develop new biochemical assays
3. Record experiments in the electronic notebook, analyze data, and communicate results
4. Support organization of lab and equipment as needed

Qualifications include:

• BSc with 3+ years of research experience in the field of biochemistry, enzymology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with biochemical assays (eg: enzymatic or FRET assays) is required; industry experience is a plus
• Hands-on experience with 384-well format assays and use of liquid handling robots (Agilent BRAVO, Formulatrix Tempest) preferred
• Experience with protein characterization a plus
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills and can thrive in a highly collaborative research environment · Demonstrated technical proficiency, attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot to solve problems, and to deliver high-quality data.

She/he will exhibit the ability to work well under pressure to provide results in a short timeframe. Compensation Details

$62,500 - $84,000 (annually) depending on experience; participation in the Company's option plan; 3% 401K contribution; full benefits.
