Senior Financial Analyst

We are hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance team!
In this role you will support the Sales & Marketing organization by providing timely, accurate and insightful business expense performance analyses to management. The successful candidate will gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, future requirements and operating forecasts. The role will develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control while performing technical analyses to determine present and future financial performance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor, identify, and communicate financial expense performance to business partners.
Review and approve expense requisitions; highlighting items which are outside of budget parameters.
Develop departmental financial and project expense benchmarks and reporting.
Create ad-hoc analyses and business forecasts.
Support accounting close process and audit reporting.
Design and implement scalable processes and procedures to report key business metrics.
Identify and drive implementation of cost reduction and process improvement projects.
Work with all functional groups to meet financial and corporate goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related degree.
Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
Strong excel skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Strong analytical skills with a focus on solving moderate to complex financial issues; and desire to quickly reach expert level with training support is a necessity.
Experience in Excel with pivot tables, VBA macros and lookup functions preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter with ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
Ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and confidentiality in handling information and issues that arise while staying within defined policies and practices.
Collaborative work style, strong service orientation, and ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff.
