About MOMA Therapeutics

MOMA Therapeutics is a biotechnology company focused on developing inhibitors of highly dynamic proteins, namely ATPases, which play critical roles in a variety of Oncology indications. Our platform allows us to successfully prosecute drug discovery against difficult and unprecedented targets which are core cancer dependencies. MOMA is planning to initiate clinical development for two programs in 2024 and is seeking someone to join our Informatics team to support ongoing research and clinical data management.

In this role you will..

Be part of an enterprise effort to enable data-driven science by supporting a robust technology platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Research, Computational Science, Clinical and Business Operations, and Leadership. We’ve built an end-to-end platform bridging lab data generation, data science, and analytics in an exploratory to pre-clinical environment, ensuring data are democratized across the company. Our technology strategy for the next few years will be focused on expanding this platform to support clinical operations, business intelligence, and decision support to accelerate our programs to prepare MOMA for a sustainable pipeline. We consistently strive to innovate, iterate, and improve our practices, while driving novel drug discovery.

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the technology platform, aligning it with our long-term goals and objectives in data-driven science
  • Drive the adoption of advanced analytics and visualization techniques, leveraging the technology platform to uncover insights and enhance decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, integrations, and automation, streamlining workflows and enhancing the efficiency of data generation, analysis, and reporting
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices, ensuring the platform remains at the forefront of innovation
  • Manage the configuration and customization of software tools and templates to establish robust data governance and organizational frameworks, ensuring data integrity, standardization, and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the technology platform
  • Provide technical support and training to users across the organization, ensuring their proficiency in utilizing new and existing software tools and assisting them in maximizing the value of these tools for

About you...

  • You have a degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or an informatics or data science-related field and 5-7 years of experience in the biotechnology industry
  • You have a solid understanding of how a biotechnology organization works and a clear picture of how data can be organized to support the business, research, and clinical development
  • Experienced in managing complex projects and timelines to enable scientific teams to work more efficiently
  • Successfully led requirements gathering, software evaluation, custom application scoping and deployment projects
  • Experience managing and configuring ELNs, registration systems, inventory management tools, data analysis and visualization tools
  • Hands-on experience with databases, APIs, coding, and scripting
  • You are curious, creative, and innovative and want to continuously improve the way we do things
  • Great at working within a diverse team of technologists, life scientists, data scientists, and engineers to collaborate and help drive mission-critical projects forward
  • Detailed and analytical problem-solver with strong critical thinking skills and are comfortable making decisions and influencing others
  • Have skills with SQL, JavaScript, Python, R, JSON and experience working in cloud platforms (AWS). You have also worked with industry software applications including Benchling, Genedata, ChemAxon, D360, Spotfire, Retool
