Breakdowns in the chromatin regulatory system lead to a wide range of diseases, including cancer, impacting millions of people.
Our proprietary Gene Traffic Control® platform is a powerful tool for understanding and modulating the chromatin regulatory system. We are pursuing multiple treatments for breakdowns in this system. We are the only company with the ability to study and target the chromatin regulatory system at scale, in context, and in an integrated way.
As a Computational Biologist, you will take the lead in driving the computational aspects of drug discovery projects. Your mission will be to identify biomarkers and uncover the mechanisms of drug action. You will work closely with experimental biologists, collaborating to define research questions and refine critical strategies to address them. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the team, continuously expand your knowledge of computational sciences, and gain a comprehensive understanding of drug discovery from various perspectives.
In This Role, You’ll Get To:
- Formulate key scientific inquiries specific to the project and devise effective approaches for solving them.
- Create, construct, and analyze cutting-edge multi-omics datasets to uncover groundbreaking biomarkers and mechanisms of drug effectiveness.
- Combine extensive internal and external datasets to produce unparalleled insights into diseases.
- Collaborate with scientists and teams throughout the organization to foster the development of practical hypotheses that can be experimentally tested.
- Contribute to the advancement of computational biology capabilities across the discovery organization.
